Moyo is a baby elephant that was only a few days old when he was swept away trying to cross a river. Thankfully, he was rescued and taken to Wild Is Life sanctuary, where Roxy Danckwerts, the founder of the sanctuary took him in under her wing.
The two of them became very close, and in fact, so close that Moyo wanted to be with Roxy all the time.
When he was taken to Wild Is Life sanctuary, the center’s founder, Roxy Danckwerts, was his main caregiver.
The orphaned baby elephant became very attached to his new mama right from the beginning…
When he was tiny, Moyo followed Roxy wherever she went, including inside her house.
Now, he’s 14 months old, and things have become a little more challenging for this growing boy inside the home.
He’s pretty big, and also pretty clumsy…
He eats whatever is in sight!
This housebroken elephant even cooks!
If there’s a barrier, he’ll find a way to break through…
…just so he can stay by Roxy’s side!
