It’s hard to believe no one INSTANTLY felt the urge to snatch this puppy up, even if he’s missing a little something. Shiner was born without his left eye, and even though he’s outrageously adorable, he ended up all alone as the last in his litter.
Don’t they say there’s somebody out there for everyone? For Shiner (surname “Solo” because, you know, Star Wars), that was Jordan Trent. Reddit user kt2133 posted a photo of the puppy with Trent, who also happens to be her brother. Try not to look for too long—your heart might explode from the cute.
An unfortunate yard work accident is to blame for the lack of sight in Trent’s left eye. His sister wrote on Reddit:
He was weed eating and a piece of metal flew in his eye, he didn’t know it then and went swimming in a pond which infected the eye pretty bad. He cannot see out of it now.
It would seem that while the odds stacked up against him, Shiner managed to find his perfect human doppelgänger.
The family shared that the pup is doing great in his new home, and he’s already made several lifelong friends. We don’t know about you, but it’s awfully hard not to fall instantly in love with the little guy.
