The “World’s Loneliest Dog” Who Spent 6 Years In A Shelter Just Got The Best News
**Update July 5, 2016**
Freya is lonely no more! She’s finally been adopted into a loving family with a mom, dad, sister, and a Rottie brother named Teddy.
This very happy Staffy had playdates and sleepovers with her once-potential family many times before she decided it was a perfect fit, and now she gets to experience all the things her fans kept telling her about. Like going on long, leisurely walks, snuggling on the couch, and sunbathing for hours on end.
Congratulations on scoring an amazing home, Freya!

Shelter workers in Merseyside, England deemed Freya, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, “Britain’s Loneliest Dog,” after she’d been with them for six years. But this pup will never be lonely again because she is going to star in the next Transformers movie thanks to an article that the film’s director Michael Bay read about her.
Bay couldn’t believe that no one wanted this pup and he knew he had to do something about that.

He also tweeted:
“Freya has epilepsy and has been in a shelter her whole 6 year life. We are also going to find her a home. If not she will come to my house. Welcome to the cast Freya!”
Freya has her own personal Facebook page where she shares her thoughts about being the world’s “loneliest dog.” Not lonely for long, though!
We are so excited for Freya and we know she’ll win a Pawscar for her debut role as an actress.
