150 Pounds Newfoundland Dog Loves Giving His Dad A Huge Hug
Sure, Newfoundland Dogs shed like crazy. Sure, their slobber covers just about everything they come into contact with, especially human faces. And sure, the combination of both those things can make interior decorating for Newfie owners something of a grotesque misadventure. But look at their big dopey faces! Even the grossest of slobber and hairballs are pretty much irrelevant by comparison.
The guy in the video below knows what I’m talking about. His Newfie – 17 months old and already 150 pounds – has a coat so filthy and sheddy (not a word, but let’s roll with it), he practically looks like the Pig-Pen of canines. And yet, none of that matters. What matters is the look of love on that dog’s beautiful Muppet-esque face. What matters is how amazing he is at giving hugs. I’m not ashamed to admit that I just want to bury myself in his arms and stay there forever.
