Christian Vieler, a photographer from Waltrop, Germany, takes the most adorable photos of dogs trying to catch food. His aim is to capture doggies’ faces expressing emotions such as excitement, sadness or confusion.
Each time Vieler begins a shoot, he is looking for the exact moment when the dog is looking as cute or as funny as he can be. These moments can’t be seen without the power of freezing motion-dog’s faces with marvelous features, each telling its own story of panic, desire, and joy. He’s inspired by each dogs personality and a good portion of humor.
Vieler, 45, is a journalist, but he became interested in photography in 2012 when he purchased a new camera. His snapshots aren’t really a project, they are everlasting and ongoing. He takes a snapshot of each dog-guest that comes to his studio, and says, “Some are pretty good, some not and a few are really gorgeous.”
