This is Jewel. Jewel came into her mommy’s life when a friend needed to move overseas and had to give away some of her puppies. Jewel was such a tiny puppy, she had problems adjusting to her new home at first.
At 6 months, Jewel developed Luxating patella and underwent surgery on both her hind legs.
Thankfully, Jewel is doing fine and even walks with her right hind leg lifted, like a beautiful ballerina.
Jewel especially loves to cuddle and sleep in her mom’s bed every night. Jewel even wakes her up when she needs to potty.
Jewel, weighing only 3.5 pounds, shows us that good things come in small packages.
Jewel loves her tuna and egg whites.
And like most of us, she especially loves her special occasion doughnuts!
Fellow Potterhead, Jewel, loves story time with her mom.
Jewel is such a sweetheart and an incredible companion. According to her mom, “I got her at a time when I was at a low point in my life and she helped me a lot.”
