This dog was found in such an unthinkable state, you won’t believe it. His neglected life on the farm was all Lambert knew, but thanks to the Galway SPCA, that was all about to change.
This was the only life Lambert knew. The mud at his paws, soaked to the bone and chained to a piece of farm equipment.
Emma O’Brien, manager at Galway SPCA, heard about the dog and went to talk to the owner. But the owner claimed to know nothing saying the dog belonged to his brother.
Rescuers removed Lambert’s chain, and he slowly started to come around. Understandably very timid at first, he quickly learned they were there to help.
The touch of a human was new to the dog, but he liked it. He could easily get used to this lifestyle!
He was taken to the Galway SPCA where he’s been for a couple of weeks. He just loves all of the new smells!
He was placed in a large outdoor grassy run with a house as they felt a noisy kennel would be too much for him at first.
Lambert is clean, free and making all kinds of new friends! Now he just needs that forever home. 🙂
