Dog Who Suffers From Skin Condition Finds Happiness In His New Foster Home
Bubba is a nine-month-old puppy who suffers from demodectic mange, a condition that leaves his skin irritated and unable to grow fur. He was given to a shelter after his original family had realized they were unable to afford his vet bills.
Sacramento SPCA was able to place him in Melissa Roberts’ foster home and an orange house cat named Mandy.
Bubba, made his presence known by promptly stealing Mandy’s bed!
Melissa got him his own bigger one, but even after that, he still gravitates toward the cat’s smaller bed!
Melissa speculates Bubba likes the smaller one because he feels snug and it helps him forget about his skin.
Bubba and Mandy seem to get along fine.
Bubba was quiet and withdrawn at the SPCA shelter, he really began to come out his shell and show his loving personality around his foster family!
Even better news is that his mange is finally beginning to clear up.
The SPCA is staying in touch with Melissa about Bubba’s progress and they’re confident they’ll be able to find him the forever family he deserves.
He’s so cute in his tiny bed!
