Residents of Eustis, Florida periodically see black bears around their wooded neighborhood. When they get a little too close, the best way to respond is to make a little noise, and it should run away.
In 2014, Krystal Long attempted to do that when an aggressive black bear wandered into her yard. The bear was not scared away by the noise and wouldn’t leave. When the bear came closer, Krystal had a savior…her dachshund Daisy came to rescue!
She started to panic until her dachshund, Daisy, came to the rescue.
