It’s sweet corn season and it’s abundantly available. Did you know that if you add butter and milk directly to a boiling pot of corn you could get some magical results?
Put five ears of corn in a large pot with one cup of milk and one stick of butter. I added water until it was about twice the height of the corn, and boiled it all together for about eight minutes. It is absolutely delicious!
Whatever your traditional method for preparing corn, I highly recommend you give this one a try.
Ingredients:
- Corn on the cobb
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup milk
Instructions:
- Fill a large pot about halfway with water. Bring water to a boil.
- Add milk and butter. Add corn and reduce heat. Simmer corn for 6 to 8 minutes Remove corn from cooking liquid and its ready to serve.
