A Rescued Bear Cub Goes Absolutely Bonkers When She Is Returned To Her Home
There’s nothing better than the pure joy of this sun bear cub returning to her natural home in the forest.
Kala was left alone in the forest after her mother was killed by poachers, and later sold off as an exotic pet.
Fortunately, the person who bought her turned her in to officials.
She ended up at the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Center.
Her caretakers started taking her on walks in the forest. And you can imagine the joy!
The sun bear’s first time in the forest since losing her mother was filled with excitement and fun!
She bit at branches and explored everything in sight. The happiness was apparent on her face.
Sun bears would normally be with their mothers until 2 or 3 years old.
But since Kala lost her mother, BSBCC is raising her in hopes of releasing her back into the wild someday.
They say her forest skills are improving every day. They are confident she will live in the wild again.
And Kala cannot wait!
It’s great seeing people do everything they can to help animals live in their natural habitat, where they are the happiest!
