These Miniature Donkeys Might Possibly Be The Cutest Thing You Will See All Week
Miniature donkeys are originally from North Africa
They were interbred with a very similar species over in Italy to create what is known today as the Mediterranean Miniature Donkey.
Miniature donkeys were brought over to the United States during the 1920s and have blossomed here ever since.
Male miniature donkeys are known as “Jacks.” Females are known as “Jennets” and babies are “Foals.”
They weigh around 15 pounds when born.
And they don’t grow any taller than approximately 35 inches.
This is KneeHi, the world’s tiniest donkey. He’s around 25.29 inches tall.
They can do some light work, if needed. But they make much better pets!
Donkeys have a reputation for being stubborn and difficult, but the truth is that they just have good memories and if something hurts or scares them, they’ll remain wary.
They’re actually very affectionate and loyal.
And they love to be cuddled!
They also get along wonderfully with other animals.
And are amazing with children.
They’re great athletes, too! LOL!
They can live to be over 35 years old.
Wouldn’t you just love to have a couple of these little guys following you around?
