Ever wish you could get a reprieve from the work day to just go hang out with your dog? After all, just minutes spent with your dog (or any dog, really) improves your mood by a landslide.
Well, people who live in Seoul, South Korea can just head over to Bau House Dog Cafe and…problem solved!
For the price of only one drink, you can spend your afternoon with a large group of wonderful and friendly dogs, which is often times a vast improvement from co-workers.
On top of that, you can bring in your own dog so they can network, make some canine friends, and accomplish other dog stuff.
There is even a section for smaller dogs who maybe prefer being separate from larger breeds.
There are also quite a few dogs who call Bau House their permanent home, these guys for example.
This is like a dog version of a frat house, except that they have someone cleaning up after them when they poop.
The Bau House staff is actually very attentive to anything that comes out of either end of any dog.
The place smells like bleach and the absolute epitome of clean. Which, I can attest as owner of only six dogs, is a enormous feat!
By all accounts I’ve read online, all dogs are extremely well cared for by the staff.
The dogs are happy, healthy and well-groomed…Which might be more than you can say for the people who frequent the nearby Starbucks.
Why there are not thousands of cafes like this in the United States is very much beyond my understanding.
It’s not like there’s a shortage of homeless dogs looking for a place to call home. Or people who have coffee addictions.
It’s a completely winning combination.
